This is my very first Mechanical Owl. I made it as a request, as many people were asking me to attempt one. I don't get to experiment with new designs as much as I would like to, but I wanted to make time for this little fella. I try to make time as often as I can for new and interesting things! I don't want you guys to get bored. Hehe.

I'm not sure what I am going to call him - but it needs to be something smart and wise. He is an owl, after all.

EDIT: After much popular request, I decided to name this owl Archimedes! :D You all came up with some awesome names, and I will make sure to use them for when I come out with some new owlies! I also updated the photo because I stupidly forgot an important detail... >_<

I'm not sure about calling him a mechanical owl, either. I'm still sitting on this idea... but this is a preview of what he looks like! He is all sorts of metallic colours, actually. There are coppers and brass, mostly... but also a tiny bit of mauve and green, as well. I gave him a little copper accent on top of his head.

Show of hands to call this little guy a "Mech-Hooter"? Lmao - just kidding. :XD:

Although this creature looks to be made from metal, he is not - he is completely handsculpted from polymer clay with the addition of a few metal findings and wire legs. This piece has been glazed with a satin finish for a slight sheen and durability.
