Belus the Mechanical Birdie by monsterkookies Belus the Mechanical Birdie by monsterkookies
This is Belus - the long lost brother to Achiroe. Although they are completely different species, their relation is apparent by their colouring. Belus is antique bronze with copper details with a brass crest, chain, and many many gears on his back.

Although this creature looks to be made from metal, he is not - he is completely handsculpted from polymer clay with the addition of a few metal findings and wire legs. This piece has been glazed with a satin finish for a slight sheen and durability.

:bulletpurple: Custom Mechanical Birdies are available for purchase in my Etsy Shop.

Reminds me of the Chinese nightingale myth. Mechanical birds and all that.
