Perhaps you're cold, mean, or harsh, and if so... perhaps you lost your heart. Well here it is - your soul is black, as is the thump-thump-thumping heart that beats in your chest. This is for those of us who don't have the bright red insides and the glowing & beaming radiance that most hearts hold.

Like all of my anatomically correct human hearts, this piece is hand sculpted without the use of molds from a high quality polymer clay. It has all the components of the real human heart - the aorta, vena cava, atria, ventricles, and the pulmonary veins & arteries. The entire piece is completely three dimensional.

The heart itself is the blackest of blacks complete with heavy texturing to give it the lump-of-coal look. It is then dusted with black oxide powder for a matte look, and glazed with a satin finish for durability and a slight sheen.

No-one's stuff was good at the beginning (Or at least I like to think that xDD) I sculpt with other clays, but polymer? I wish! Tops, when I make something nice I burn it in my oven x_D

Hehe, I've tried paper clay once, and air dry in highschool I think. But polymer is the only stuff I work with now. :)

My oven runs hot, so it likes to burn stuff... so I had to get an oven thermometer so I know what the real temperature is. Because my oven LIES.

My oven is very, very old, and it doesn't regulate the temperature well. I know how to bake food on it, but not how to bake polymer clay, lol x_D

It's actually easier to bake polymer clay in a tempermental oven than food is. Namely because you bake clay at such a low temp.
