Black Forest Cake Charms

So I tempted you all last night with the thoughts of black forest cake. I'm sure my description left you wanting some, but if you missed it than I must describe it again.

This cake is made up of three layers of decadent dark chocolate cake drizzled with kirsch - a cherry brandy. It is filled with layer upon layer of fresh cherries and whipped cream, and the sides are covered in chocolaty dark sprinkles. It is slathered in cherries and their sticky sweet sauce - half cherries, whole cherries, and their sweet and sour goodness.

Dainty whipped cream borders the sides and dollups on top are topped with whole maraschino cherries with their stems in tact.

Delicious!

I can't tell you how labour intensive it was. It took so long to get all those layers just right, and it required many baking intervals. Haha. I am VERY happy how they turned out, and I only have a very limited amount. So, I am putting one in my Etsy shop. There are five pieces total.

You can get it on a 20" leather cord with chain extension and charm or 30" silver plated ballchain or just as a charm with a small key ring-style jump ring.
