Description
This is the 33rd piece in my Industrial Heart collection, entitled, Flowers Fallen.
Like most of my Industrial Hearts, this piece starts with an anatomically correct human heart made from polymer clay - the base. With all of the components of a real human heart, it has also been made to look metallic and Industrial with its panelling and rivets.
This piece is offset by the delicate flower patterns introducted through the texture of antique victorian buttons.
On the left side is some delicate corsetry lacing, and on the front is a panel that has been textured with flowers. There are also several textures on the front accompanied with large rivets.
On the back is a metal strap running vertically to a round brass panel with flower texuring on the very bottom of the heart. From the far left to right on the back is two different chains running horrizontally - parallel to eachother.
The entire thing has a worn steel look, but some details have been picked out with a metallic brass colour. The entire thing has been antiqued with black acrylics to give it an aged and used feel. As always, there is a stainless steel loop in the back which will be attached to a keyring style jump ring and strung onto a necklace.

So pretty! If only I had money, I would SO buy one. ^w^ I love the old, worn look; the bronze coloring really makes it look mismatched, as if it's been repaired inexpertly several times. Again, I love it! ^w^
