This is the 41st piece in my Industrial Heart collection, entitled, Heartstrings
Like most of my Industrial Hearts, this piece starts with an anatomically correct human heart made from polymer clay - the base. With all of the components of a real human heart, it has also been made to look metallic and Industrial with its panelling and rivets. Gears, metal findings, and other various things are also added.
This particular piece has been made to look like a Epiphone Les Paul guitar, but still maintains the Industrial look. The string adjusters were made from screws, and small gauged wire have been used for the strings, and the frets were made from a larger gauge wire. It has a slight gold hue like the owners guitar, but it blends into silver at the back. There is also a guitar switch in the back.
The entire thing has been antiqued with black acrylics to give it an aged and used feel. As always, there is a stainless steel loop in the back which will be attached to a keyring style jump ring and strung onto a necklace. My Industrial Hearts are ON SALE until July 31st!
