Intricate Workings - Front by monsterkookies Intricate Workings - Front by monsterkookies
This is the 79th piece in my Industrial Heart collection, entitled, Intricate Workings.

Like most of my Industrial Hearts, this piece starts with an anatomically correct human heart made from polymer clay - the base. With all of the components of a real human heart, it has also been made to look metallic and Industrial with its panelling and rivets. Gears, metal findings, and other various things are also added.

The entire thing has been antiqued with black acrylics to give it an aged and used feel. As always, there is a stainless steel loop in the back which will be attached to a keyring style jump ring and strung onto a necklace.

This particular piece was requested to have lots and lots and lots of gears. Their favourite was the first original Industrial Heart, "My Heart Ticks", except they wanted more gears, dangling chains with a teardrop and some hanging gears, as well as a barbed wire loop off the side for the chains to hang from.

Yes! Although *some* designs may not be recreated because they were one time things or because I ran out of the unique materials to make them. But send me a note with the ones you are interested in! I can let you know. :)
