This is the 49th piece in my Industrial Heart collection, entitled, Love Is Key.

Like most of my Industrial Hearts, this piece starts with an anatomically correct human heart made from polymer clay - the base. With all of the components of a real human heart, it has also been made to look metallic and Industrial with its panelling and rivets. Gears, metal findings, and other various things are also added.

This is one of my favourites, so far. The entire piece is rich in all sorts of textures, and there is no paneling or riveting on the piece. I especially adore the little gold heart shaped key hanging off the right side - it makes me happy. Too bad it's already sold!

The entire thing has been antiqued with black acrylics to give it an aged and used feel. As always, there is a stainless steel loop in the back which will be attached to a keyring style jump ring and strung onto a necklace.
