This is the 21st piece in my Industrial Heart collection, entitled: "Loves Fire"

The entire thing is made from polymer clay, with the exception of some tiny additions. It has all the components of a real human heart, except this heart is made to look like metal with it's metal and rivet detailing.

I really love how this piece turned out. It is based off of a forged piece of metal, hence that glowing redish orange body of the metal, still hot. The rivets are white hot, as well.

In the front is the main furnace. Inside, the loves fire burns hot and passionate. In front of the fire sits a wrought iron door to contain the blaze, but the fire glows through. The arteries in the top are made to look like black wrought iron pipes and smoke stacks. On the top of one of them is the classic pointed caps to keep out debris, and another one has flames rising from within.

The side and back contains many brass pipes to contain the steam, as well as a heart shaped pressure gauge in the red zone. There is also a small vent in which you can see the fire glowing from inside.
