Artist's Comments

This is my latest mohawk picture. Usually I do it up into a lovely deathhawk, but I decided to change things up. I put it into a straight and freakin' high mohawk with some of my hair at the sides as well as my long burns at the sides as well. I thought it looked pretty cool like that!

I went out to Nuit Blanche last night with this, and I swear I got a billion pictures taken of me and random norms shouting "Yeeeeah" out of drunken-ness. Oh my. :XD:

FAQ: How do I increase my page views?[link]
:iconvihmavesi:
May I ask what do you use to get your hair straight up like that? It seems pretty high and I can't come up with anything that could hold up hair that long. :O_o:
:iconjaras-angel:
I asked my fiancé if he'd still love me if I shaved my head (joking of course) Then I said: What about a mohawk. He answered "I dare you." So then I said "I dare you!." So he said he would when it gets longer. :giggle: yah right.

Wow I ramble

I love it though, I've always loved that style of hair, even as a kid. Never done it myself though. Gawd I need to break out! lol. So how do you keep it up? I remember you mentioned back combing last time... :?
:iconmonsterkookies:
Yes, this one has a lot of backcombing at the base especially to support the weight of all the spikey hair... a good solid base is the key to getting the rest to stay up until you comb and wash it out. I alternate hairspray with backcombing until I get the results I want. Than I finish it up with a "Freeze Spray" which is extremely strong glue-like hairspray. Good stuff! I think you should get a mohawk, I mean... since he dared you. Beat him to it! Haha! :giggle:

Just good backcombing at the base of the hair to keep the rest of the hair from falling over! Good strong backcoming skills, some hairspray, and you're set!

I did do :D ha ha. I'll probably get little reaction from him though :giggle:

Not sure if its exactly correct as I had to do it myself and all I had to use as a mirror was a tiny compact to reflect back into the wall mirror:XD:

:o lol I don't even own a bottle of hairspray! :lmao:

Ahh I forgot how nice it feels to have no hair underneath. Well very little anyway. I used a #3 as it was already on the clippers that I use on my kid's hair
:iconmonsterkookies:
Ahhhhh, that's so cool! I'd love to see pics! :D Awesome!

Know what I just realized ^^; I forgot to leave the back bit in the middle, so it's really just shaved underneath :faint: :lmao: :lmao: :stupidme:
