These are the twenty-seventh (Mrs.) and twenty-eighth (Mr.) MechOwlies that I have created, and they have been nicknamed "Pierre & Marie" - after the famous couple who shared the 1903 Nobel Prize in physics for their research on radiation.
They are a set of MechOwlie toppers for a wedding cake. Theme was a silver base with their wedding colours of emerald green, dark purple, and copper.
Congratulations Tilde & Dean - the happy couple that will be getting married this weekend! I will have photos of these MechOwlies on the cake, soon.
Although this creature looks to be made from metal, it is not - it is completely handsculpted from polymer clay with the addition of a few metal findings. This piece has been glazed with a satin finish for a slight sheen and durability.
