This is the 62nd piece in my Industrial Heart collection, entitled, Pretty In Metal.

Like most of my Industrial Hearts, this piece starts with an anatomically correct human heart made from polymer clay - the base. With all of the components of a real human heart, it has also been made to look metallic and Industrial with its panelling and rivets. Gears, metal findings, and other various things are also added.

Once in awhile, I get people who love the Industrial look but want to tone it down a little bit with a few pretty aspects. This is one of them! It's got a cute little purple bow, a tiny metallic strawberry charm hanging from the bottom, as well as a little purple flower in the back. Details have been picked out with green, gold, pink, and purple metallics.

The entire thing has been antiqued with black acrylics to give it an aged and used feel. As always, there is a stainless steel loop in the back which will be attached to a keyring style jump ring and strung onto a necklace.
