Rayhawk by monsterkookies Rayhawk by monsterkookies
This is Rayhawk - a mechanical birdie. He is silver and brass in colour with two red LED eyes and a cog crest on his head. He has many watch parts along his back to his tail. This is always my favourite part of making these birdies!

Although this creature looks to be made from metal, he is not - he is completely handsculpted from polymer clay with the addition of a few metal findings and coiled wire legs. This piece has been glazed with a satin finish for a slight sheen and durability.

:bulletpurple: Custom Mechanical Birdies are available for purchase in my Etsy Shop.

These are all fantastic. What are they made out of, if I may ask?

I really like the cog as a crest on this bird's head; such a creative use of a gear to mimic a feature of a real bird. Does it rotate?

Hehe, thanks. :) Nope, it doesn't rotate.
