Artist's Comments

This "greased up" gear is made from polymer clay without the use of molds. Each one is unique! This particular gear is a a mixture of bright blue turquoise and a shiny silver metallic colour, has flat teeth, and also has a slight corrugated metal texture as well.

It has been hand sculpted to look as real as possible, and has been antiqued with black to give it a worn-machinery type of look. Highly industrial, highly sleek...

1 1/2" in diameter.

:music: Oh I'd like to visit the moon, on a rocket ship high in the air. Yes I'd like to visit the moon, but I don't think I'd like to live there.

So although I may go, I'll be coming home soon, cause I don't want to live on the moon. :date: :music:

Amazing, how rugged are they? Like if i wanted to make a pendant of it, would it hold up to everyday wear and tear?

It is a pendant, actually... and it comes with a chain, like it shows in the Etsy Listing. So yes, it is pretty rugged and meant to be worn as a necklace. Now, if you dropped it ALL the time and tried to bend it or stuck it in a vice, yeah... it MIGHT break. Haha! :XD: But treating it nicely and wearing it everyday, it will be fine. :)
