This piece is based off the 24th heart in my Industrial Heart collection, except it has been altered.
The entire body of the heart is polymer clay that has all of the components of the anatomical human heart, but has been made to look like metal, with paneling and rivet detailing.
Like the first heart of it's kind, this piece has a Stethoscope in the front, but instead of a microphone and emergency light in the back, there is a black panel with large rivets and a white handpainted medical symbol. It was a real pain to paint, since the actual design is only about 1cm high, but it was worth it!

There is a loop in the top so that this heart may be strung on a 20" black rubber necklace with chain extension and heart charm, which this piece comes with. The entire thing has been antiqued with black to give it a worn appeal, and it has been glazed once to allow for a touch of shine and durability.

Haha, that's awesome! I hope no one gets the wrong idea and tries to open it, that symbol on jewellery usually means there's medical information inside it!
