I love to create cake slices. Not just in the kitchen, but in my workspace as well.

Just in time for Spring, I created a cake slice in lovely soft pastels - pastel yellow, green, blue, and pink. Each fluffy cake layer has been layered with a white froting and then the entire cake has been iced with the same frosting, and topped with cute lil' soft pastel candies.

These may be pieces of cake, but they certainly weren't pieces of cake to create! Each piece requires multiple layers baked in several intervals to get each slice just perfect. If you layer everything all at once and bake it all together, you are definitely guaranteed to have a very sad, droopy, and messy creation.

Completely handsculpted from polymer clay.

Icing is mixture of liquid clay and polymer clay, and then I finish with a high shine polyurethane. :)
