This design is based off of my 4th Fusion heart in the Industrial Heart collection, entitled
Stitched Fusion.
Like most of my Industrial Hearts, this piece starts with an anatomically correct human heart made from polymer clay - the base. With all of the components of a real human heart, it has also been made to look metallic and Industrial with its panelling and rivets. Gears, metal findings, and other various things are also added.
I often get people who request a heart that has already been made, but want it slightly different. This piece is a worn brass as opposed to worn steel, has no heart on the chain, and has slightly more gears crowded together in the back.
The entire thing has been antiqued with black acrylics to give it an aged and used feel. As always, there is a stainless steel loop in the back which will be attached to a keyring style jump ring and strung onto a necklace.
