This is the 4th piece in the FUSION sector of my Industrial Heart collection, entitled, Stitched Fusion.

All fusion hearts are based off two or more of my original designs - mixed to create a brand new design. This piece fuses two previous designs: "Nobodies Perfect" and "Future Passed".

Like most of my Industrial Hearts, this piece starts with an anatomically correct human heart made from polymer clay - the base. With all of the components of a real human heart, it has also been made to look metallic and Industrial with its panelling and rivets.

This piece has an open brass locket on the front with tiny gears inside. It can be opened or closed to your liking, of course. There is also a bright red gash that has been stitched with black wire, as well as a bit of texturing from other gears.

The back has a brass casing with rivets for the gears inside. There is also a bright red gash with black wire stitching and a star lock washer. From inside the star lock washer is a delicate antiqued chain with a small pewter heart charm hanging off the end. There is also various little screws and other metal bits throughout the design.

On the left side is a small length of ballchain coming out from the heart and then back in. There is also brass patching on the very bottom of the heart, and a gear with screw on the right side.

The entire thing has a worn steel look, but some details have been picked out with a metallic brass colour. The entire thing has been antiqued with black acrylics to give it an aged and used feel. As always, there is a stainless steel loop in the back which will be attached to a keyring style jump ring and strung onto a necklace.
