Two of a Kind - Backs

These are the 55th pieces in my Industrial Heart collection, entitled, Two of a Kind.

Like most of my Industrial Hearts, this piece starts with an anatomically correct human heart made from polymer clay - the base. With all of the components of a real human heart, it has also been made to look metallic and Industrial with its panelling and rivets. Gears, metal findings, and other various things are also added.

Periodically, I get asked to make matching hearts for two people. These hearts have matching components, except for the mere fact that one leans more towards the Industrial side of things, and the other leans more towards Natural Beauty with it's violet flowers and vines...

The entire thing has been antiqued with black acrylics to give it an aged and used feel. As always, there is a stainless steel loop in the back which will be attached to a keyring style jump ring and strung onto a necklace.
