Waffles with Butter and Syrup by monsterkookies Waffles with Butter and Syrup by monsterkookies
Again, this is one of my first pieces of Monster Kookies jewelry. I have come a long way since than! :D

I still love these though, and I didn't sell them because they were one of my first pieces and they were just too cute to part with. Haha!

Anyways, they are nice little round waffles with plenty of CANADIAN MAPLE SYRUP and Butter. Mmmm!

They are charms, so they can be made into earrings. Woohoo!

Check out my website and check out my gallery and shop! Or make a custom order! :)

It's TLS and Shaved Brown Charcoal :)

If you go to my front page and look under "News" I have an article I wrote about Liquid Clay :)

Yes, oil pastels work, but they tend to make the mixture opaque if you use too much, so just use a lil' bit. :)

Oh no, what does opaque mean Dx!

Opaque means the opposite of translucent or see-through. :) So the syrup won't come out see through, it will be solid colour that you can't see through.

Yum! These are cute! How did you do the syrup?

The syrup consists of Liquid Sculpey and a very small amount of Sepia Oil Paint. Than I just drizzle it on and bake it with a at of butter. Yum yum.

I ended up getting that job as the personal chef position. It's great! I work out of my home, make the meals, and deliver them in the morning and go to The Big Carrot to do all my organic grocery shopping, than come home and do it all over again :)

Yes, it is pretty interesting. I get to have my part time (maybe 15-20 hours a week) personal chef job (which pays for my rent, and most bills) and than I have my claying which gives me some leverage and leeway so I am just getting by. But it's enjoyable, and I get to be at home or out and about grocery shopping or walking around... which I love. I just bought a bunch of fruits and veggies today as well as this big fluffy bunch of fresh basil and it smells SO fresh and yummy, and than when I looked in my bag when I got home, it was gone. I think a basil thief got it. Haha. Aw well, it was cheap... I will go get more :)

If I'm honest, i HATE food shopping so i couldn't get were you're coming from ;) hehe but i guess if you know what exactly you're going to do with the food it's not so bad. It really does sound like an awesome job!! You can't beat organic food... it's just all so fresh and clean. You feel better eating it too. :omg: The basil thief strikes! You'll get your revenge on him one day i'm sure!! He'll be sorry!... :P

Hahah! THAT'S RIGHT! WATCH OUT, BASIL THEIF!!! :P
It sucks... I can't actually EAT the organic food because I am cooking it for him, not me, because I can't actually afford Organic food on my own. It's just tooo pricey. :(

They are excellent plain, as well :) Just as long as it has butter and syrup and some fresh fruit, I am plenty happy.
