This is the 17th piece in my Industrial Heart Collection, entitled: "Which Wire?"
What is it exactly? Well. It is one of my Industrial Hearts made from Polymer Clay, with metal panel and rivet detailing of course. All of the arteries and components of a real human heart have been added to the top.
I had an idea to creating a "Ticking Time Bomb" design quite awhile ago, but I just didn't have any time to get to it! So, after taking a little bit of a breather from customer orders, I decided to create this!
That's right - it wasn't made for a customer in mind, so it is UP FOR GRABS. I will be posting it my Etsy shop just a few minutes after I post it on here.
It is brass coloured and has been greased for that old worn machinery look. On the front, it has the display from an old digital watch, and I have painted "0:59" seconds on it. Just under a minute to go, and it's gonna BLOW!
AHHH!
At the side is a bundle of three TNT sticks, wrapped with black wire and adhered to the side of the heart. From this bundle of TNT comes the wires that shall cause the entire thing to explode. A Green and Yellow coiled wire as well as a red wire in the back. But which wire do I CUT?! Which WIRE???
There is also a sassy looking red LED with black frame on the back, and some red and black diodes on the other side.

i love this design and the fireplace heart I've got a bit of a question for you. I'm using polymer clay for my A2 DT project and was wondering do u add the bits(components) during or after the clay has set?
