Artist's Comments
Tentacles have always been one of my favourite things to create, namely because they are so wiggly and creepy, but I wanted to fuse it with my Industrial designs as well!
So this is an Industrial Tentacle made from polymer clay, using a metal shielding technique that has been popularized by clay artist Christi Friesen in her experimental steampunk hearts. Since her free steampunk heart tutorial, the amount of people making steampunk hearts using this technique have popped up everywhere! This wriggly little tentacle is covered in paneling, rivets, texturing, and a few brass coloured rivet-suction cups. It is 2 inches long and has a lovely corkscrew-curve appeal to it. It has been made to look like worn steel and has been antiqued for a well-aged look.  Get this in my Etsy Shop NOW before it sells! [link] Want to see more of my work?
