This is the 13th piece from my Industrial Heart Collection, entitled:
You Make My Heart SoarThis original piece was made for ~
M1nd-C0rrupt3d who wanted a heart with wings.
This heart is a tiny bit smaller than most of my Industrial Hearts. In fact, it is about 3/4 of the size of one of my other hearts. But I wanted the heart to be dainty and small to suit the size of the wings, which are very small and made from brass.
The actual heart itself is made from polymer clay, made to look like metal paneling and rivets. In both the back and the front, there are small panels missing to reveal metal watch pieces and gears. In the front is three dysfunctional springs in which I made myself from fine jewellers wire. It gives this piece a very malfunctioning look. Hehe.
The entire piece is siver steel toned and the wings are brass in tone. The entire thing has been greased with black to bring out the details and also to give it that aged machinery look.

It is one of my favourites so far. It's so damn CUTE. The pictures just don't do it justice.
