One of the most popular items to hit the Monster Kookies jewellery collection is my Industrial Hearts. Each piece is unique in it's own way, and has a personality all to it's own.

These hearts are extremely detailed, take a lot of love and labour, and are adorned with all sorts of findings and details such as panels, rivets, gears, LED's, transistors, diodes, screws, bolts, and all sorts of stuff! Each one has been antiqued with black acrylics and glazed with a satin finish for a slight metal sheen. The hearts themselves are about 1 1/2" tall and the hook in the top is made from stainless steel for added strength. Each heart comes on an 18" silver tone link chain with lobster clasp.

After a wonderful 1 1/2 years of creating custom Industrial Hearts, and barely able to keep up to the volume of orders anymore, I thought that closing down custom orders would be a good idea. But after many requests to re-consider, it was deemed appropriate that I continue allowing custom requests on a case-to-case basis.

Do you have an idea for a CUSTOM Industrial Heart? To date, I have created over 130 Industrial Hearts, and you can imagine that as I create even more, it gets even more challenging to create an entirely unique heart! I often get requests for "hodge-podge" Industrial Hearts, meaning a heart that consists of various components from a few different hearts that I have made in the past. I do not consider this a custom Industrial Heart, but I will accept orders for them. Please consider that requests like puppy dog faces and Spongebob do not make a great fit for an Industrial Heart. It sounds strange, but you'd probably be surprised at some of the requests I get...

Please keep your requests related to the Industrial style. The two most requested design ideas I often get are hearts that open like a locket and hearts that split in half - unfortunately, the polymer clay medium does not allow for such things without compromising it's strength, so it cannot be done at this time. I'm currently out of connectors and haven't been able to find a reliable supplier for these parts, so heart pairs that "connect" to eachother (like "Tuned Into You") are not an option at this time. Still think you have a great design idea that *hasn't* been done and suits the industrial style? Let me know. I'm all ears!

If there is a design that you see in the Industrial Heart Collection that you would like for yourself, just let me know and I will see if it can be made with my current collection of parts. I often use findings and one-of-a-kind found objects in my work, so a few of my past Industrial Heart designs cannot be duplicated down to the very last detail in some cases. I will let you know if this is the case after you have let me know which heart design it is that you are interested in. I have chosen a few popular Industrial Heart designs in my past collection that I will be making on a regular basis, as these hearts are the most requested. I do not use molds in my work, and each piece is completely hand sculpted - this means your heart may vary slightly from the original, but that is the beauty of handmade... no two pieces are ever exactly the same!

The price of CUSTOM Industrial Heart listings are $65.00 USD each and Industrial Heart Design Replicas are $55.00 USD each. The extra amount on the CUSTOM Industrial Hearts is there to compensate for the time and effort it takes in creating a brand new heart design. Shipping to the U.S is $8.00, the U.K is $9.00, and Australia is $10.00. Shipping tends to vary greatly depending on what city/town you live in - especially in Canada and Internationally. Shipping tends to range from $7.00 - $17.00 for Canadians, and $9.00 - $12.00 for International residents. When I receive your order, I will send you a message letting you know what the actual price is to ship to your specific address, and I will promptly refund you the difference. I accept Paypal as well as major Credit Cards such as Mastercard, Visa, and American Express - Credit Card payments are processed through Paypal, although you don't need a Paypal account to use a Credit Card as your payment option. Furthermore, I accept Personal Cheques from those who may not be comfortable with online transactions. Canadians - I accept E-mail Money Transfers for those of you who bank online.
