Inside Rainbow Road - Front

This is the 101st piece in my Industrial Heart collection, entitled, Inside Rainbow Road.

Wondering where my 100th Industrial Heart is? I'll be submitting it soon - but for now, it's a big secret.

Like most of my Industrial Hearts, this piece starts with an anatomically correct human heart made from polymer clay - the base. With all of the components of a real human heart, it has also been made to look metallic and Industrial with its panelling and rivets. Gears, metal findings, and other various things are also added.

The entire thing has been antiqued with black acrylics to give it an aged and used feel.

This piece is one of a few Industrial Hearts that were created to be life size. It is the size of a REAL human heart! This particular piece was for a real big Mario Kart fan who just so happened to want me to make a heart inspired by the bright colours of the Rainbow Road level.

Completely hand sculpted from polymer clay with various additional findings.
