Nuclear Fusion - Back

Description

This is the 88th piece in my Industrial Heart collection, entitled, Nuclear Fusion. They are a pair.

Like most of my Industrial Hearts, this piece starts with an anatomically correct human heart made from polymer clay - the base. With all of the components of a real human heart, it has also been made to look metallic and Industrial with its panelling and rivets. Gears, metal findings, and other various things are also added.

The entire thing has been antiqued with black acrylics to give it an aged and used feel. As always, there is a stainless steel loop in the back which will be attached to a keyring style jump ring and strung onto a necklace.

This was made for a couple - hence the name "fusion" in the title. A fusion of two people. :)

They are both exactly the same, except for the colour of the LED's. They are two shades of green - one lighter than the other. The pattern I used was something I haven't tried yet, but I really like how it turned out - it reminds me of the pattern you'd find on a circuit board.

The date on the back is their anniversary. :)
